I think the current input description is incorrect - it says that the each turn first 9 lines describe the board, but actually the first line of input shows current scores of the players. Also, it seems to me this input is bugged, in games where only my bot scores points it shows the same score repeated two times.

there is a slight inefficiency in Board.java l. 357-358: instead of for (int x2 = 1; x2 < 10; ++x2) { for (int y2 = 1; y2 < 10; ++y2) { why not write for (int x2 = x1; x2 < min(x1+3,10); ++x2) { for (int y2 = y1; y2 < min(y1+3,10); ++y2) { and remove l:365-367 ? The same comment applies to the Boss code where the number of computed legal moves is always superior to the number given by the referee because duplicates are generated.

which is the output for move only one marble ? The suggest output talks about first marble and last marble. ** ok the last overlaps the first ! It's not so clear

Great to have Abalone on board! I think the game is missing a number of important features: * you should provide the candidate moves or, if there are too many, at least the number of them. This is really helpful to debug a new bot. * you should provide the last played move by the opponent. People with search algorithms will thank you. True, it can be guessed from the board state but why bother ? * you need leagues so that your game can be nominated "Puzzle of the Week" and gain traction. Please provide a decent boss that easily crush random bots.
