The boss has been updated. It can probably be made stronger if needed. My current bot in the leaderboard is also the boss in order to gather more games for evaluation.

Did a quick and dirty conversion from my othello meta mcts to test this game for early game branching. Will keep it updated. The reason it only shows 28 moves is symmetry. That symmetry is completely broken after the first move. It's 28 moves on turn 1, then 100+ moves on turn 2. Haven't seen any malfunctions during making first approach. I wonder what is starting player win ratio. In most board games the player with first move has tempo advantage and greater win ratio. In kind of similar game 'cram' starting player can always win (prove by computer simulation , human player don't have such a skill yet)

The graphical display sometimes displays both player moves as 'null', though they are correct in the game information panel.

Although I intend to have only one version of the game, league level 2 now features a 10x10 board while level 1 keeps the 8x8 board. Depending on feedback, I'll make a choice between the two later on.

As a novice player I would vote for smaller board. Even 8x8 on start, its too complicated to see what is going on on board.

After a false start, here is the real thing. There are a few things left: logo, colors, fr statement, player UI polish, a decent boss. It owes a lot to struct Amazons code (reused with his permission)

Rules: Typo: "once this games end" -> "once this game ends" Legal action: "any ammount of squares" should be "any number of squares" (only use "amount" for things that cannot be counted") "it may not cross or go to a square occupied by a piece" should be "it may not cross or go to a square occupied by a piece OR occupied by a wall" "the wall placement must meet the same requirements as the movement." - It is not clear from this whether the wall placement is relative to the piece's original position or the piece's new position. Game Input: "Next 10 lines: a string of characters representing one horizontal row of the grid, top to bottom." Is this always 10 lines, even when the board size is 8x8? Output: Typo: "...and where you wan to place the wall" (wan -> want)
