- In rules is provided start position of any animal. - Each turn is provided made turn of opponent. - my color is provided in input. So player is needed by ourself calculate, what opponent (and also own) animal is where. wouldn't it be better to provide each turn a list (nrAnimals): - owner (0 - opponent, 1 - me) - animal (CAT, WOLF...) - x/y position That: - makes my color input redundant - enemy from / to move redundant (but would probably be still nice) Nice game!

There are so many variants of this game, half place wolf above dog, half otherwise (without changing positions). To avoid confusion, I removed links as they contradict each other. Thanks for summary finding - I was using some old function instead of proper one.

The game is not actually played on a chessboard, and algebraic notation is always a little pain to deal with, so I skipped using it this time ^^'

From original game rules: "A piece that enters one of the opponent's trap squares is reduced in rank to 0. Thus the trapped piece may be captured by the defending side with any piece, regardless of rank. A trapped piece has its normal rank restored when it exits an opponent's trap square." Here it's a variant without rank restoration and with universal traps - any animal rank is reduced to 0? Clarify it in the statement please. Would be handy to have digit rank idicator on each piece, for better human understanding which animal is which and when rank goes to 0. Like here http://www.onlinesologames.com/...

I played the game on this site before and the rules there are weird I think. Not sure what you mean by "rank restored". If you stay on the trap your strength is 0. I think it is hard to write it more clearly. Traps are universal because the game has some drawish/perfect defense issues without. About the indicator on a piece - good point - I will add them to tooltips and maybe on normal pieces also.
